After several decades of working across market lines, Mish Tzar returns to his roots: "5 O'clock Sportswear". The result is a vile but feminine collection, which blends couture precision with street nonchalance. Delicate silks, fine imported wools, exotic eels skins and plush panne velvets are skillfully crafted into an edgy new label. Characteristic of Misha Tzar ,

Spring 2008 collection
Spring 2008 collection is based on omedieval (XV and XVIc) court dressing references (carterage pleating, ruffs, armor shirts), then combined with the simplicity of the 60's (Francoise Hardy, Paco Rabanne).
The collection is young, modern, and ultimately sophisticated in craftsmanship and execution (DeLuxe RTW). Produced in the USA. Fall 2008 collection Inspired by a weathered cross symbol and Dino De Laurentiis' 1960's film Danger: Diabolik , Fall 2008 collection captures a bit of the severe along with a playful flamboyancy of the 60s. This is eminent in the line's simplistic shapes, contrasted by dark opulent hand beading, intricate weaving techniques and eccentric hardware.
The collection is truly chic, dark and sweet; while keeping the label’s philosophy of impeccable execution. |
